About Us

About Us: A Lifetime of Paws & Passion

Welcome to Sassy Paws Daycare and Grooming, where your dog isn't just a guest—they’re part of the family. Our story is built on over two decades of wagging tails, expert training, and a deep-rooted love for our canine community.

Meet Michael: The Visionary

Michael is the heartbeat of Sassy Paws. With over 20 years of experience as a professional dog trainer, he has dedicated his life to understanding the canine mind. Michael’s journey began in the training ring, helping thousands of owners build lasting bonds with their pets.

Today, he has channeled that expertise into creating Sassy Paws—a premier daycare and grooming facility designed with a "dogs-first" mentality. Whether he’s overseeing a group play session or offering a bit of behavioral advice, Michael’s goal is to ensure every dog is happy, balanced, and well-behaved.

Meet Debbie: The Heart of the Operation

Every great lead needs a brilliant "offsider," and Michael found his in his wife, Debbie. As the co-pilot of Sassy Paws, Debbie brings the warmth and organization that makes our facility feel like a second home.

While Michael focuses on the "how" of dog behavior, Debbie focuses on the "who"—getting to know every owner, remembering every dog’s favorite scratching spot, and ensuring the grooming salon runs like clockwork. She is the glue that holds the Sassy Paws family together.

What Sets Sassy Paws Apart?

We believe that daycare and grooming should be more than just a service; it should be an experience that enhances your dog's life.

  • Expert Oversight: With a master trainer at the helm, our daycare environment is safer and more structured than your average "free-for-all."

  • A Family Touch: We are a family-owned and operated business. When you talk to us, you're talking to the owners.

  • Holistic Care: From a fresh "Sassy" haircut to socialized play, we look at your dog’s physical and mental well-being as one.

Our Mission
